Ingenuity Innovation Center to Help Sponsor First Annual Love Summit

Ingenuity Innovation Center will be helping support and sponsor Dream Change, Inc.’s first inaugural Love Summit in Portland, OR that will be taking place on June 13, 2015 at Wieden+Kennedy advertising agency headquarters in Portland.

Dream Change is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 1987 by New York Times best selling author, John Perkins, to help shift humanity’s consciousness to inspire new ways of living. Through educational workshops and events, Dream Change experts teach individuals from all walks of life how to create a more sustainable, just and peaceful world for future generations.

Dream Change invites business leaders, government officials and the public to come and explore the missing link in business and sustainability education – love – the most likely candidate for stabilizing the economy, decelerating climate change, protecting the environment and creating a socially just world for future generations.

The Love Summit will be a daylong event co-hosted by Dream Change founder and New York Times bestselling author of Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, John Perkins, and Dan Wieden, co-founder and chairman of Wieden+Kennedy.

“We are very excited to participate in this wonderful event,” stated Kate Wildrick.  “After making the connection with the Executive Director [Samantha Thomas], we instantly saw the connection of how Dream Change and Ingenuity are working on the same types of endeavors.  This shift is all about stepping into creating authentic connections to help bring about the change that we wish to see and be in our world.  The whole team is very excited to help sponsor and support the event.”

Ingenuity has pledged to provide private tours and a dinner to the top event sponsors.  In addition, Ingenuity has also been asked to participate as a solutions partner to help continue on the connections and conversations that emerge at this landmark event.

The conference will be comprised of interactive presentations by renowned CEOs and world leaders including:  Freddy Ehlers, Ecuadorian minister of Buen Vivir, Darcy Winslow, Managing Partner of the Academy for Systemic Change/former General Manager of Nike, David Howitt, founder & CEO of Meriwether Group and author of Heed Your Call, and Sarah Severn, CEO of Sarah Severn Consulting/former Senior Director of Systems Innovation at Nike.
